More film photography wedding goodness at The Devonshire Arms near Skipton

Andy Garfitt Wedding Photography, Yorkshire, Devonshire Arms Hotel, Skipton, film photography

13 December 2011

This is Clare and Neil. They got married on the Bonfire Night at The Devonshire Arms at Bolton Abbey near Skipton. It was a really great day and we all had a most excellent time. There will be a bigger post on their wedding day in the near future, but until then, here’s a few frames shot on my lovely old medium format film camera.

There’s a lot of buzz in the world of wedding photography at the moment about how to achieve that “film” look through various software presets and techno jiggery pokery.

I have an easier way. Shoot film ;-)

Not that I’d be brave enough to do a whole wedding, but it does add a little extra something to the rest of the images I give my clients.

Enjoy!

What absolutely gorgeous photos – there is nothing like the dynamic range of film. I love the greens and the oranges. Just beautiful.
