Ah, June seems like such a ling time ago but looking again at Steph and James’ wonderful wedding takes me right back. It also reminds me how shockingly behind I am with blogging weddings, oops.
Anyway, Steph and James got married in the peacefull, and relaxed setting of Chevin Country Park Hotel in Otley, just outside Leeds. It lovely log cabins in the woods were a great place for them both to spend the night before and get ready in the morning.
I spent the morning with Steph and my good mate Matt Tordoff looked after the groom. Glad to say that it was all pretty chilled, Steph is super organised, and every ‘t’ was crossed and ‘i’ dotted long before the big day.
Here’s a few of the bride getting ready:
There was also a videographer, see if you can spot him … lovely fella and a pleasure to work with.
A few last minute make up adjustments made for some really dramatic images in front of the mirror. I’m actually stood in the bath for the second one. Who dares wins and all that!
Time for the wedding ceremony, so much love, some wonderful readings, plenty of emotion and then the paparazzi descend.
Ah, cute child staring at a present looking confused. A classic.
Lots of laughter and surprises in the speeches, just the way it should be.

Seemed a shame not to drag the poor bride and groom into the woods for a spot of portraiture, happily it was something they wanted to do.
BBQ, smokeyQ
First dance time.

Then it’s full steam ahead for the party, including bottle microphones and copious amounts of good times.

Thanks so much Steph, James and your families and friends, you were great and we had really good time at your wedding.
P.S. I’m happy to say that Steph and James are now expecting their first child! Massive congratulations!
